Extending the Reporting Date and Amending the Language of the Special Legislative Commission to Study Renewable Energy Programs

RESOLVED, That the special legislative commission created by resolution No. 378 passed by the Senate at its January session, A.D. 2024, and approved June 13, 2024, entitled "Senate Resolution Creating a Special Legislative Commission to Study Renewable Energy Programs”, and as extended and amended by resolution No. 141 passed by the Senate at its January session, A.D., 2025, and approved March 11, 2025, entitled “Senate Resolution Extending the Reporting Date and Amending the Language of the Special Legislative Commission to Study Renewable Energy Programs” and as further extended and amended by resolution No. 374 passed by the Senate at its January session, A.D. 2025, and approved June 20, 2025, entitled “Senate Resolution Extending the Reporting Date and Amending the Language of the Special Legislative Commission to Study Renewable Energy Programs” is hereby further authorized to continue its study and make a report to the Senate on or before January 31, 2027, and said commission shall expire on February 27, 2027; and be it further

RESOLVED, That the time for reporting authorized by resolution No. 374 passed by the Senate at its January session, A.D. 2025, and approved June 20, 2025, be and the same is hereby rescinded. EXPLANATION BY THE LEGISLATIVE COUNCIL OF SENATERESOLUTION EXTENDING THE REPORTING DATE AND AMENDING THE LANGUAGE OF THE SPECIAL LEGISLATIVE COMMISSION TO STUDY RENEWABLE ENERGY PROGRAMS *** This resolution would extend the reporting and expiration dates of the special legislative commission to study renewable energy programs from February 13, 2026, to January 31, 2027, and said commission would expire on February 27, 2027.
