Extending the Reporting and Expiration Dates of the Special Legislative Commission to Study and Provide Recommendations for Potential Changes in Legislation/oversight of the Act on Climate

RESOLVED, That the special legislative commission created by resolution No. 313 passed by the Senate at its January session, A.D. 2025, and approved May 15, 2025, entitled "Senate Resolution Creating a Special Legislative Commission To Study and Provide Recommendations for Potential Changes in Legislation/Oversight of The Act on Climate" is hereby authorized to continue its study and make a report to the Senate on or before May 1, 2027, and said commission shall expire on June 1, 2027; and be it further

RESOLVED, That the time for reporting authorized by resolution No. 313 passed by the Senate at its January session, A.D. 2025, and approved May 15, 2025, be and the same is hereby rescinded. EXPLANATION BY THE LEGISLATIVE COUNCIL OF SENATERESOLUTION EXTENDING THE REPORTING AND EXPIRATION DATES OF THE SPECIAL LEGISLATIVE COMMISSION TO STUDY AND PROVIDE RECOMMENDATIONS FOR POTENTIAL CHANGES IN LEGISLATION/OVERSIGHT OF THE ACT ON CLIMATE *** This resolution would extend the reporting and expiration dates of the special legislative commission to study and provide recommendations for potential changes in legislation/oversight of the Act on Climate from May 1, 2026, to May 1, 2027, and said commission would expire on June 1, 2027.
