Extending the Reporting and Expiration Dates of the Legislative Commission to Study the Entire Area of Land Use, Preservation, Development, Housing, Environment, and Regulation

RESOLVED, That the special legislative commission created by resolution No. 139 passed by the House of Representatives at its January session, A.D. 2021, and approved March 25, 2021, entitled "HOUSE RESOLUTION CREATING A SPECIAL LEGISLATIVE COMMISSION TO STUDY THE ENTIRE AREA OF LAND USE, PRESERVATION, DEVELOPMENT, HOUSING, ENVIRONMENT, AND REGULATION" and as extended by resolution No. 194 passed by the House of Representatives at its January session, A.D. 2022, and approved March 24, 2022, entitled "HOUSE RESOLUTION EXTENDING THE REPORTING AND EXPIRATION DATES OF THE SPECIAL LEGISLATIVE COMMISSION TO STUDY THE ENTIRE AREA OF LAND USE, PRESERVATION, DEVELOPMENT, HOUSING, ENVIRONMENT, AND REGULATION" and as extended and amended by resolution 230 passed by the House of Representatives at its January session, A.D. 2023, and approved April 6, 2023, entitled "HOUSE RESOLUTION EXTENDING THE REPORTING AND EXPIRATION DATES, AND REQUIRING REAPPOINTMENT OF THE MEMBERSHIP OF THE SPECIAL LEGISLATIVE COMMISSION TO STUDY THE ENTIRE AREA OF LAND USE, PRESERVATION, DEVELOPMENT, HOUSING, ENVIRONMENT, AND REGULATION" DEVELOPMENT, HOUSING, ENVIRONMENT, AND REGULATION" and as extended by resolution No. 192 passed by the House of Representatives at its January session, A.D. 2025, and approved April 1, 2025, entitled "HOUSE RESOLUTION EXTENDING THE REPORTING AND EXPIRATION DATES, AND REQUIRING REAPPOINTMENT OF THE MEMBERSHIP OF THE LEGISLATIVE COMMISSION TO STUDY THE ENTIRE AREA OF LAND USE, PRESERVATION, DEVELOPMENT, HOUSING, ENVIRONMENT, AND REGULATION” is hereby authorized to continue its study and make a report to the House of Representatives on or before June 10, 2027, and said commission shall expire on June 29, 2027; and be it further

RESOLVED, That the time for reporting authorized by resolution No. 192 and passed by the House of Representatives at its January session, A.D. 2025, and approved April 1, 2025, be and the same is hereby rescinded. EXPLANATION BY THE LEGISLATIVE COUNCIL OF HOUSERESOLUTION EXTENDING THE REPORTING AND EXPIRATION DATES OF THE LEGISLATIVE COMMISSION TO STUDY THE ENTIRE AREA OF LAND USE, PRESERVATION, DEVELOPMENT, HOUSING, ENVIRONMENT, AND REGULATION *** This resolution would extend the reporting and expiration dates of the special legislative commission to study the entire area of land use, preservation, development, housing, environment, and regulation, from June 8, 2026, to June 10, 2027, and said commission would expire on June 29, 2027.
